Audrey Justine Tautou is a French model and actress who gained international recognition by playing the shy and eccentric waitress from her romantic comedic film Amelie which won her several prizes and awards. Tautou has been compared numerous times with Audrey Hepburn due to her charisma, beauty and acting talents. Though she was born into a prestigious family with dark hair, her parents were dentists and teachers. The acting profession was not the first thing she expected to do. She is a native of France and has appeared in French films before making her Hollywood debut with Tom Hanks.
